Coaches
MaKenna Warminsky, Varsity Head Coach
Coach Warminsky is in her 4th year coaching and 2nd season with GHS. She coaches club for Gold Coast and was previously the Freshmen Assistant Coach at New Canaan High School.
Originally from Allentown, PA, Coach W graduated from Parkland High School in 2017. During her time there, she played midfield & defense, helping lead her team to three East Penn Conference titles and two District XI championships.
Coach W continued her lacrosse career at Kutztown University at the Division II level, where she earned PSAC Scholar Athlete honors all four years and the DII ADA Academic Achievement Award in her junior season. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special Education.
Currently, she teaches 8th grade special education at CMS. In her free time, she likes to read, play video games, and golf.
Bill Chimento, Varsity Assistant Coach
Bill has over 20 years of teaching experience. This is his 1st year working in Greenwich, teaching English at GHS.
Bill is a seasoned Coach with over 25 years of experience. In addition to coaching Girls Lacrosse, Bill is also the Girls Field Hockey Freshmen Coach and Boys Varsity Basketball Coach at GHS.
He has coached six different sports across all levels and played both lacrosse and basketball. Bill is currently coaching club lacrosse at Team 91 for both the Girls and Boys and he is owner and Coach of 914 Elite Basketball.
Bill is passionate, professional and competitive. He is always getting the most out of his players, especially our girls on this team.
